designed to suit the specialized structure and movements of a woman's
body. You will learn how to relax and center yourself with an enjoyable
low-impact dance form as traditional as yoga and as flirtatious as
salsa. Learn the ancient art of Oriental dance and Bellydance. |
Special clothing- we will let you know when we do classes that require other items. Special class sessions will be held on- veil, finger cymbols, sword, cane, multiple sword, fusion, transitions, floor work, various stylings (American, Tribal, Oriental, Turkish, Gypsy, Egyptian, folkloric, etc.) spins and turns, and posture improvement. Performance- Interested students will be asked to perform for the class. We will hold informal recitals. Information will be made available about other teachers, classes and events. Video viewing- every week as part of our class, you will see clips of dancers past and present. If there is interest, we will discuss culture, transformational aspects of dance and applied subjects.
